Run by the community, for the community
The Wawanesa Rink was built in 1975 and has grown into an important part of the Wawanesa community and the Municipality of Oakland/Wawanesa. It's run by a small team of dedicated volunteers and boasts four sheets of artificial curling ice, hockey rink with artificial ice, event rentals and hosts a number of local leagues and teams.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported the rink during the 3rd Annual NHL Hat Auction Fundraiser!

Together we raised $7,000 that will help keep making our rink better and better!

The AAA Bantam Cougars are hitting the ice in Wawanesa again this year.  These kids play a fast exciting game of hockey with a lot of energy.  Keep informed of all their home games by watching the rink calendar here.

The JETS are back!  Thanks to a couple of dedicated hockey guys from town who have assembled a senior hockey team that will play in the Tiger Hills Hockey League this season.  Stay tuned here to see the schedule.
